Wonderful interns worked and stayed at the Strawbale Studio from several days to six months.  Most were “WWOOFers” ~ from the apprenticeship network “World Wide Workers on Organic Farms” ~ who came to the Strawbale Studio from across the country & around the world. They received room, board & natural building training in exchange for helping with projects and upkeep of the grounds. A great way to get an education!  Some locally-based interns & volunteers commuted from their homes.

2009 interns included Amity Yore from Australia, Ramona Stuger from France, Sam Runner, Miriam

Keller, Bethany Cook, Julie Bojanowski, Sara Nameth, Stacy Armbruster who recieved credit through her Environmental Science Class at Oakland University, Mike Ross, Emily Breczinski, Ezra Sandzer-Bell, Cameo Rogers, Koren Farmer, Ben Smith, Ben Burk, Eileen Townsend, Kathleen Henesy, Evan Dayringer, Amanda Lindahl, Sam Wagner & Ben Schrader, Emilie Berczinski, Abbie Dietz. Apologies to any left out or not pictured.  Let me know !

Many others volunteered & helped out for a day or more.
