Natural Building Workshop 

Sunday, August 3, 2008   10 am to 2 pm.

Are you curious about natural building? 

• Tour the Strawbale Studio, a unique thatched-roof structure with strawbale walls covered with earthen plasters and sculpturals, as featured in the "Beauty of Strawbale Homes" by Bill & Athena Stein. 
• See the Rocket Stove Heated Bench, and other small natural structures and sustainable components on this land.  

• Learn about natural earth plasters...how to identify soil, mix, and apply an earthen mix. 
• Try your hand at working with the clay mix. 
• Take home a bag of the earthen mix so you can experiment at your leisure!

Fee:  $35 / $25 if paid by July 21. 

A light lunch will be provided!
