Introduction to Natural Building

Saturday, May 9, 2009. 12p - 5p with Optional Potluck & NB Resources Evening

Begin with a tour of the Strawbale Studio, a natural & thatched roof structure, view a video on strawbale construction, and learn about earth as a natural building material by sculpting a small model to take home! Optional: Full Moon Bonfire and Potluck Supper following the workshop at 6 -9:30 pm.  This can also be a Resource evening – a chance to further explore natural building and sustainability books, and have conversations.

Class limit 15. $25 by May 1, $35 if registered by May 7.
