Permaculture is in its beginning stages on the property.  We currently have been developing Zone 1 outside the south door of the main house to include herbs, Jerusulem Artichoke, Lavendar, and some medicinal plants.  (picture below)

A greenhouse is being constructed to do year-round gardening.

Water management: We are adding gutters and would like to develop a good flow of water away from the house, including a rain-barrel and a swale or water feature.
