In 2009 the Strawbale Studio
Natural Building & Sustainable Living Program provided educational events and hands-on training to individuals, families & home-schooling teenagers through tours, workshops, weekly programs, internships & volunteer activities. A wider audience is reached by presentations, exhibits & publicity such as the Strawbale Studio website and listserve.

Activities included
- The Oxford Kid’s Cottage thatching and stemwall.
- The Spiral Chamber, thatching and plasters.
- The Log Loft, a round pole structure for sleeping & storage.
- The Smiling Sun Earth Oven, for baking pizza and such!
- A Year-round Greenhouse: now growing winter crops !
- Strawbale Studio: additional sculptures, reed/silk loft ceiling.
- Kensington Kids Cottage built in '06, is toured by 10,000/year !
- Tours, Classes, Exhibits, Presentations, Consultations, Publicity & Internships
