Each full moon is given a name by the native people of this land.  May's full moon is called the "Flower Moon" . In honor of this incredible time of year, come to the Strawbale Studio land, where we will leisurely walk the land and be introduced to the numerous edible plants (commonly called "weeds") which are both enjoyable and a contribution to our health!  We will nibble along the way and also gather some of these plants for a salad. The gardens here have been planted over the years with many lovely perennial & native plants.  Meet some of them as well, and take home up to 7 plants from this tour !  Stay for the Full Moon event below. if you can.   Tour the enchanting Strawbale Studio, a thatched roof structure.

Some of the perennials on the land:

Perennials from around the world which grow well here: Siberian Blue Iris, Day Lily, wild garlic chives,

Natives: Culver's Root, Cinnamon Fern, Astilbe, Wild Geranium,
