FULL MOON POTLUCK & BONFIRE -  DATES on chart below. 

We gather together each month to enjoy nature and each others company.  

By this simple process, we reconnect with the elemental beauty of creation and human community.

This is a great time for folks who haven't been to the Strawbale Studio to visit, tour, and meet others. 

There are "regulars" - neighbors and friends - who frequently attend, and generally quite a few children.

Feel free to bring musical instruments ...and share your local economy if you wish:  things to sell,

your business cards...and such! 

While this is a free community event ~ donations are (joyfully) accepted ~ with a goal to provide scholarships to enable 5 low-income individuals to attend a workshop this year !  

Progress toward this goal will be tracked on this page starting January, 2013.  

What to expect:

• 6:00 pm- meet in the main house for options:  GUIDED TOUR the Strawbale Studio & other projects such as the Rocket Stove Heated Bench, and Kid's Cottage ~ BROWSE the resource books ~ WANDER the land, or SOCIALIZE !
• 7:00 pm- Potluck meal ~ bring food to share.

You will want to:

• Bring food to share.  We do a "go around" before the meal, so you can share what you know about your food.  
• Dress for the outdoors, and bring a flashlight if you can!
• Bring your musical instruments you like to play.  
• Promote Local Economy .... if you would like.

 Dates & time: The FULL MOON BONFIRE is held monthly throughout the year at the Strawbale Studio 6 pm – 10 pm on the date of the full moon.  We meet rain or shine, although there may be conditions or situations that prevent this gathering, so please RSVP with your phone number, or check the website if you think there might be a cancellation.

Monthly Full Moon Potluck  Click on link for dates and details

Join in on this free community event that includes a tour of the buildings, a bonfire and an opportunity to be with good folks and nature.    RSVP and Registration   6 pm tour. 7p food and bonfire.  Donations to the Strawbale Studio are appreciated.

Note that 4 of the potlucks are held at the closest time to the peak full moon,

and do not fall on the "day" of the full moon ~for  example, the moon is fullest on March 27 at

 4:30 am in the early morning, so the potluck is held in the evening of March 26.  Milton requested this accuracy. :)
