Tim Mouch 16' - 18' Canting it.. taking off bark. 12' smallest you want to work with - 8x8 block, get 4 boards out of that.maple, cherry, oak. nice wood. pallets toward pine or poplar. Amish folks, firewood. Best firewood from branches, tighter fiber and easier to split.. Trunk has the sapwood, food. Selective cut up north - poplars.900 cord. 19 - 21 cords. 8 (8' + 4") or 10 ft. (10 ' + 4 '"). Keep out of direct sunlight. closed, but vented with plexiglass. Edges for smoking. Smaller woodchips for composting. selll woodchips to organic farm.
