March 5, Friday 2010 Candlemaking  .     Enjoy dipping tapered candles, made from local bees wax, to take with you . Learn how you can do this at your home.  Friday 3 - 5:30 pm   Families welcome.  Beeswax & wick provided. 3 - 5:30 pm $15
March 12, Friday 2010 Felting & Cording . Learn the basics of these ancient crafts made from local wood & fibers.  Take home what you make.  Friday 3 - 5:30 pm  Families welcome. Fibers provided in workshop.  $15
March 13, Saturday 2010 Pruning Fruit Trees  .  Learn in time to prune your own this year ! Instruction & hands-on experience.  Teacher, Rick McAvinchy, Land Management Forester.  You can hire him to prune your trees, also!  1 - 3:30 pm. Followed by optional Natural walk & tree / plant identificaiton $25
March 19, Friday 2010 Vermaculture .   Learn about making and using worms for indoor composting.  We will construct a worm bin.  Make a bin to take home.  Pre-order bins (2/$15)) from me or bring your own.  Worms included. 3 - 5:30 pm $15
March 26, Friday 2010 Fermenting Foods: Preserve foods while increasing nutritional value. Make keifer and Yoghurt and take home samples.  3 - 5:30 pm $15
March 30, Tuesday  2010 Full Moon Afternoon Activity. Join the  "Volunteer Crew" at a the Strawbale Studio 1-4 pm preceeding the Full Moon Potluck below. There will be a variety of projects   Details to come.
